Marissa Profitt

Marissa Profitt was born and raised in PEI, and received her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University. Her interest in the profession originally began when volunteering with various inclusive and adaptive programs during her undergraduate degree at StFX University, followed by a summer internship at aspire physio | wellness where she became immersed in the rehab profession.

As a clinician, Marissa has a special interest in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and cognitive impairments. Her favourite aspect of the job is utilizing evidence-based practice while tailoring interventions to meet the individual needs of each and every client.

When outside of work, you can find Marissa spending time with her family, crafting, dancing, or curling up with a good book.
