Aspire opened in Stratford in 2019 by two practitioners with a vision of building a team that could provide complete care to Islanders. Today physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise therapy, children's therapy and mental health support sit in one building, under one roof, with one team.

Our story
aspire physio | wellness grew from a vision to create a place where Islanders could feel supported, understood and empowered in their care.
Owners Mandy Fraser and Chris Johnston share a commitment to building a practice grounded in compassion, connection and clinical excellence. Their vision has helped shape aspire into a welcoming space where people are listened to, professionals work together effectively, and care is centred on what matters most to each client.
From the beginning, the goal has been to bring physical and mental health services together in an environment where each person’s story, needs and goals help guide their path forward.
That vision has grown into a dedicated team of professionals who share a passion for evidence-based care and a deeply personal approach. As our team continues to grow, our purpose remains the same: to help people feel their best and live life more fully.
We’re proud to be locally owned, proud to serve our Island communities and are excited to keep growing alongside the people who inspire everything we do.
2019
Aspire opens
Two practitioners, one treatment room and a waiting list at Kinlock Crossing.
2021
Children's therapy
Occupational therapy for children starts, filling a gap families were driving off-Island for.
2022
Mental health joins
Counselling, EMDR and pain reprocessing therapy become a permanent part of the clinic.
2026
Three practices
Aspire Physio, Aspire Kids and Aspire Mental Health, serving Stratford, Charlottetown and Island-wide.

Physiotherapist
aspire is currently seeking a physiotherapist to join their growing team of multi-disciplinary health professionals. Our ideal candidate would have experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, is outcome-focused, and brings with them a positive attitude and strong clinical reasoning skills.
